With this game, the developers created a leveling system with many different layers that can work for or against the player if you do not carefully manage your character’s progression. It’s a fairly straightforward process, but not in Oblivion. Increases in levels open up new powers and options for your character. In most RPG’s, you have a character who earns experience points, and after earning a certain number of those points you will gain a level.
